The following file formats are allowed as master files of submissions to the EG-Models archive.

Format of Master Files

Jvx	Geometry file format of JavaView allows description of geometries and animations. This format allows an automatic validation against a DTD.
Obj	Wavefront file format 3D geometry file format used in Wavefront's Advanced Visualizer™ and Sun's Java3D.
Byu	The Brigham Young University file format for 3D surfaces.
Poly	File format describing polytopes of arbitrary dimension

Data formats for "Preview" and "Image" files: jpg and gif files are accepted.

Other file formats may be used for supplemental files. Note, that the editors of the EG-Models archive ensure validity only of master files.
