The rhombicubeoctahedron is one of the thirteen Archimedean solids.
The rhombicubeoctahedron has 24 vertices, 26 faces and 48 edges.
It is generated by truncating the vertices and edges of a cube or of an
octahedron. Here the distance from vertex to center point is scaled to 1; the
edge-length is
2sqrt((5-2sqrt(2))/17)
. Every vertex has two
coordinates with the absolute value
sqrt((5-2sqrt(2))/17)
and one coordinate
with the absolute value
sqrt((7+4sqrt(2))/17)
.
